How is the May Challenge going?
One of my learners loves to read and she wants to read interesting books in French.
As the school year draws to a close, I have chosen to read a book in Spanish with my students. If we don’t manage to finish the book, my students will have to finish reading it over the summer holidays which will be an excellent practice to keep up their Spanish.
I teach Spanish language B IB to 5 students this year. I find the programm very interesting as it requires higher level language as well as thinking. However it is quite challenging for my students. One topic we have to cover is about social relationships and it is quite a wide and vague topic,
A few weeks ago, I was asking you for suggestions to order Spanish books for my school library. Over my teaching career, I have found that reading is a key skill, if not the main skill to learn a language. By reading texts and books, language “acquisition”
The very kind librarian at my school sent me an email about whether I could send her a list with titles of Spanish books for the library as there is some money to be spent. However, I am not sure what would be the best/most useful for the students to order.
