The title of today’s newsletter does not come from me. It comes from my favourite online yoga teacher, Adriene Mishler. Two weeks ago, I started the 31 days Yoga Revolution to get ready for Christmas and the 3rd day practice was Honor:

As 2017 has just begun, I am full of inspiration and hope! I am committed to be a patient and loving mum taking care of my family.
Conscious breathing exercises are a big part of yoga and I must admit that at first they were not my favorite part. I started doing yoga because I wanted to get back in shape after giving birth to my third child and I wanted to exercise.
Last year when I was teaching Spanish, I became a fan of brain breaks. According to Dr. Lori Desautels: “They refocus our neural circuitry with either stimulating or quieting practices that generate increased activity in the prefrontal cortex, where problem solving and emotional regulation occur.
