I’m learning my 3rd language, French. I learned Spanish and some Portuguese using the traditional route, grammar rules and memorization. It’s a grind and not fun at all.

I’d started learning French the same way and, to be honest, was not enjoying it and didn’t feel that I was making much progress. Somehow, I don’t remember, I stumbled onto Alice’s site … thankfully!

Learning French the natural way, through repetition and story telling is fantastic. Now, I understand a lot of French and can put together my thoughts, in French, without thinking about the grammar. Sure, I still make mistakes, but that’s part of the learning.

The online community and video meetings are fun, helpful, and interactive. There is no stress to “perform”, no tests to take, etc. Of course, it’s not magic, you’ll still have to put in some time reading easy books about things that interest you, or reading the many entertaining French stories found on her website. I love it!

So, if you’ve thought about learning French, or have tried before but failed, I would suggest that you give this a try. The membership prices are very reasonable and the environment is pretty rich!
